Where are you? Support > Knowledge Base > DSL Support > Macintosh > Mac OSX DHCP DSL


  • From the Apple Menu select "System Preferences"
  • Click on the blue "Network" icon

  • Click the arrow box on the "Show" drop-down list and choose "Built-in Ethernet".
  • Click on the "TCP/IP" tab.
  • Click the arrow box on the "Configure" drop-down menu and choose "Using DHCP".
  • In the "Domain Name Servers" box, type the following DNS server addresses: and
  • In the "Search Domains" box, type "dslextreme.com"
  • Click on "Apply Now"
  • You are now configured for DSLExtreme DSL Via DHCP.
