iOS (iPhone, iPad) Email Setup

How to set up your iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) with your DSLExtreme email account.


  • To set up the iOS email program, open Settings
 




  • Find and tap on “Mail”



  • Select "Account"
 



  • Select “Add Account”

 




  • Select “Other”

 




  • Select “Add Mail Account”
  • Enter your name, the full dslextreme email address, password and (optionally) description. Then click on the “Next” button.


 
  • Under the “Incoming Mail Server” section, ensure that IMAP is highlighted at the top of the page. Enter the Host name of: mail.dslextreme.com
  • In the “User Name” field, enter your full dslextreme email address. IE:  [email protected]






  • In the “Outgoing Mail Server” section, enter the Host Name of: smtp.dslextreme.com
  • Enter your DSL Extreme User Name and Password. Make sure you enter you complete email address as your username. IE: [email protected]




 
  • Click on the Next button to continue.
  • After the account is verified, you can select the items you want synced. It is recommended that you leave ‘Mail’ on. Last, click on the “Save” button:




  • You will now be able to access your email using the Mail app.
  • Repeat for any of your other DSLExtreme email accounts.
