Recovering Deleted Emails in Webmail

Files deleted and discarded in Webmail can  sometimes be recovered even if the trashcan is emptied*.

To recover those emails, go to webmail at www.dslextreme.com/webmail (note that you need to run webmail in normal (Ajax), not HTML mode for this to work).

Once logged in, right-click on the Trash icon in the left hand column. Select Recover Deleted Items from the menu.

Scroll through the list of emails until you find the message or messages you want to keep. Click on the message (note that you can shift-select or control-select to choose multiple emails)then click on the Recover To button.

Choose the folder you want to send the recovered items to. If you want to create a new folder to store the recovered items in select the Newbutton.

Click OK to start the recovery process.

*Be aware that the amount of files stored in Recovered Deleted Items is based on available space on the Server. Because of this, there is no guarantee that email messages will be recoverable.
