What is DSL Extreme Fusion Broadband+Phone?

DSL Extreme Fusion Broadband+Phone bundles high speed Internet service with download speeds up to 20Mbps and upload speeds up to 1Mbps with traditional home phone service provided by DSL Extreme all for one low monthly rate.


How fast is DSL Extreme Fusion Broadband service?

DSL Extreme Fusion Broadband service includes download speeds up to 20Mbps and upload speeds up to 1Mbps. Your line will sync at the highest rate that it can sustain based on your distance from the central office in your neighborhood and quality of your phone line. Unlike other services or service providers we don't arbitrarily limit the sync rate on your line. We offer one simple package and allow your line to sync at the highest rate that it can hold.


What other features do I receive with DSL Extreme Fusion Broadband+Phone service?

DSL Extreme Fusion Broadband Service comes with ten e-mail accounts with 15 GB of mailbox storage space each, anti-spam filtering, free Pop-Up Stopper, online account access, and 24/7 technical support.

DSL Extreme Fusion Phone Service includes traditional home phone service with premium calling features such as voicemail, caller ID, call waiting with caller ID, call forwarding, and many more.


Is there a charge for calls made outside my area code?

All accounts come with unlimited nationwide calling to all 50 states plus Guam, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. The phone service also includes "Free Talk" for up to 8 hours of Free International calling to select area codes. Area codes outside of "Free Talk" will be billed at the standard International Rate. Who is the phone service provided by?

The phone service operates over existing AT&T phone lines and provided by Sonic Telecom.


What is DSL Extreme's billing process?

Automated monthly payments via a credit or debit card are required. DSL Extreme bills are due on the 1st for the month for the upcoming months service. For example, your monthly service charges for service between January 1st and February 1st are due on January 1st. Any additional charges such as dispatch fees, prorated charges and applicable usage charges including International Calling will be billed on a separate invoice and will be charged to your credit or debit card automatically.


Can I host a server?

Yes. You may host a server on your connection as long as it is within our acceptable use policy. Spamming is not allowed and strictly enforced. If you plan on hosting a server we recommend a static IP address package.


Does DSL Extreme filter any ports?

For dynamic IP accounts port 25 is blocked by default to prevent against spam generated from our network and can not be removed. Port 25 is not blocked for static IP accounts. If you plan on hosting a server we recommend a static IP address package.


What equipment do I need for DSL Extreme Fusion Broadband+Phone service?

A DSL end-user must be equipped with an ADSL2+ modem and a network ready computer. New clients are required to lease an ADSL2+ modem from DSL Extreme on a free lease basis. In addition, the end-user's computer must meet recommended minimum system requirements.


Will I need a professional to install the service?

No. In most cases DSL Extreme Fusion Broadband+Phone can be installed yourself using the provided instructions. In some cases the dispatch of a professional technician may be necessary after the activation date for an additional charge.


Will I get charged taxes?

DSL Extreme Fusion Broadband+Phone service does have monthly taxes and fees associated with the service.
