Sending Email Through 3rd Party Servers (unblock port 25)

Port 25 Removal Request

By default, outbound port 25 traffic is blocked.  This is done in an effort to reduce spam.  If you wish to be able to send email through 3rd party mail servers you will have to disable Port 25 Blocking.  Port 25 can be unblocked for Standard DSL Dynamic (DHCP), Static and truesTREAM.

We cannot unblock port 25 if you have a PPPoE connection.

For trueSTREAM customers, email [email protected] with your request.

For Standard DSL: Unblock port 25 by following the steps below. Log in to the Members section, and on the left hand menu choose "Manage Firewall".

Check the "Allow Port 25" box and then click the "Apply Filter to Account" button.

This will allow you to send email using 3rd party SMTP servers.
